better then, One!

{O! what fun hmm hmmm

to work for hmmm…..

benevolent  master.}

Marching out in glee

with briefcase and coffee

greeting all with smile

O! what fun this,

fun lifestyle.

we have equality,

social parity,

and oh! “hi!”

here you see,

this is Anderson

who looks….just, like me?

Why does he look like me?

Why does everyone

just look like me…….

And everything is copied.

This is no place to be.

“Get away from me.”

“Let me flee…..”

Stop dragging…..

Stop! pulling me.

I don’t remember

coming here.

How did I wake up

in this nightmare……..

at least *gasps*

let *gasps*

*wakes up, panting*

Ahh……the heat!

the conformed heads

of this, unique

What is this, I see?

Surrounded in flames;

no look spared for the monster,

runs to the forest, then

through the trees.

weaving a noose of

necks for heads many.

Whoever said, two heads

are better than one.

Look! look at what, he,

alone, has done.

Hail Individuality!

  1. Hail individuality! Very well done and playfully so 🙂
    I am wondering …am I more of an individual when alone? What’s the point then …wouldn’t it be more fun to be the comfortable individual one while in that crowd?
    Ok …maybe I should just stick to saying …I loved your poem!

    1. haha… no…….no words barred zone here………and you don’t have to be alone to be an individual……in fact being comfortable with one’s identity in a crowd is a major part of that……. thank you so much……..glad you liked this one too….. 🙂 🙂
